Interactive Q&A on award-winning film “Plastic Paradise” with Angela
Sun, who will answer your questions

Event Date: Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 1 pm EST / 10 am PST / 6 pm GMT

Transcript: If you miss this live event, a transcript of the Q&A will be
available afterward on this same page.

In this interactive Office Hour chat, Angela Sun — the
director/producer/writer of the feature documentary “Plastic Paradise:
The Great Pacific Garbage Patch” — will take your questions on the
movie, its message, and the role of film and media in fighting marine
debris.

The documentary’s centerpiece is a trip by Angela to Midway Atoll, where
the albatross population is being killed by ocean plastics. Along the
way she meets scientists, researchers, influencers, and volunteers who
shed light on the effects of our rabid plastic consumption and learns
the problem is more insidious than we could ever have imagined.

Plastic Paradise (http://plasticparadisemovie.com) is making the rounds
of film festivals, where it has already won awards at the Wild and
Scenic Film Festival, Catalina Film Festival, and DocuWest Film
Festival. A review of the film in The Hollywood Reporter is at
