Dear Clean Up friends!
We are all looking forward to the International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) this year. On September 15th and 16th, 2023, we will once again join forces with over 1,000 volunteers of all ages here in Germany to make a stand against marine pollution.
Leading up to September, we are organizing smaller events in Kiel, Hamburg, Lübeck, and Sylt to prepare ourselves for the big ICC. In this list, you will find our planned cleanups so far. Feel free to reach out to nadine.brueggen@oneearth-oneocean.de if you have any questions or suggestions.
The action will take approximately 2-3 hours. We will provide all the necessary materials! 🙂 After a brief introduction on the issue of waste and the process of collecting it, we will begin the cleaning. Whether it’s plastic, glass, bulky items, or anything else: everything that doesn’t belong in nature must go!
