Abstract:
Microplastics are ubiquitous contaminants that could harm ecosystems.
Wastewater contains microplastics and may lead to further contamination
of the environment. This focus article presents a summary of current
knowledge on microplastics in wastewater and possible solutions,
suggesting current research needs.
