For more than a decade now\nthey have been the guardians of Tasmania's remote south west beaches as\nrubbish washes up beyond the gaze of civilisation. The Bookend Trust has\nsupported the clean-up over many years now, including by producing the\nawards winning Plastic Shoreline documentary and blogging the journey\nsince 2011. As our southern season turns colder and the days draw short,\nthe crew are back out there right now. Each evening a report and photo\nis being sent through via satellite phone so that we can experience a\nlittle bit of the challenge.
