I was in my final years of high school and had all the\ntime in the world to surf, work on my art, and mess around in a couple\nbands (I played drums). So, my friends and I took full advantage. I\nremember deciding at that time that I would make this my life. Waves,\nthe Ocean, Art, and Music would not only be part of my lifestyle, but\nhow I would eventually make a living. Unfortunately the idea faded a\nlittle due to financial struggles, money was not as easy to come by and\nI was on a top ramen budget. But, Coastal Playground still always\nlingered in my mind.\n\nYears later the idea finally became reality with the help and\nencouragement of my wife and childhood friend Adrian. This time we had\nsome new ideas and an actual budget.
